Chris came out quickly and quoted me a price. (I live an hour away so it’s always such a pleasure to have a speedy response.) He let me know the time frame of when they would be able to install the glass which had to be special ordered. The company called me within that time frame and Jonathan, the installer and his helper arrived on time and proceeded to install the glass. They were professional, kind and easy to have working in my home. I was very pleased with the transactions of each person I dealt with.

We needed a sliding glass door for our shower on a house out in Prospect, VA and I couldn't even get the local glass company to come and look at giving us an estimate. After calling the local company twice I gave up and realized that I would have to look outside of our area. CGM gave us an initial quote after we sent them the initial measurements(based on our location being a long drive to get to them). After we got the quote and agreed with the pricing they came out to measure and get the exact measurements for the opening. They also provided us with different options to consider and we were looking to go with a sliding barn door look. Tom and Ashley were a pleasure to deal with at the office. The installation crew that came out was very professional and did not make a mess in our house. Our property is being turned into an Airbnb so we wanted to have a good look for the bathroom. We were very happy with how great the door looks! I even spoke with the owner, Dwight, after the job was completed when he called to check on the work. I would definitely recommend CGM. Just remember to allow them plenty of time to get your job done in a timely manner. Please plan accordingly on your end to allow for their installation timeline and make them aware of your timeline as well. Great job! I think that our customer will love the look of the bathroom shower!

CG&M did excellent work on a failed picture window. In a 1954 home, we had a double-paned picture window, about 44x41 inches, that had gotten foggy on the interior because a seal had failed. We got tired of seeing that every day. It was a vinyl replacement window. I thought the whole thing would have to come out at significant expense, but I paid $25 for Charlottesville Glass & Mirror to come out and measure and estimate. They gave me a rapid quote for just replacing the double-paned glass, and they gave me the option of a tinted glass or a lower-cost untinted version. Their total quote was probably not the cheapest out there, but it was really nice to deal with a local company instead of some national chain and to be able to run down the street and drop off and old-fashioned check for the deposit. They ordered the replacement quickly and did a very good job on the installation, making sure to thoroughly clean the frame and install new seals and put silicone along the outside glass where it met the bottom frame. I'm very happy with their work and the result.
